PATTERN. Is one of the most important thing in art. Why? Everything that we look is pattern. You cannot deny that. Let's see.

SO Pattern is a repeated decorative design. Underlying structure that organizes surfaces or structures in a consistent, regular manner. There are 3 kind of Pattern, as we can see from left to right, Regular Pattern, Progressive Pattern and Flowing Pattern.

Regular Pattern is kind pattern that always repeat the shapes, or structures.

Progressive is pattern that shows the size growing bigger or reverse from big to small.

Flowing Pattern one of pattern that I like so much, when we see its like our eyes directly flows through it following the shape, waves on it.

Task 2 I made 7 basic elements combined with Pattern. There I made 2 kind of stamp printing for PATTERN. It is a rabbit, while on the other is the frame of the rabbit. The stamp we use carving mat, we carved the shapes, line for the pattern of the stamp. I chose the image of a rabbit because cute. So just make it and cut the middle of the rabbit itself, so I got the rabbit and the frame. Stamped it with Lino Ink and done after 4.5 hours. Without we realize this assignment is the last assignment. See you on FINAL PROJECT.

Stumbled upon this while researching visual design roots for a manuscript reminded me of a conversation with a Book Publisher in Canada who said flowing patterns in cover art subconsciously guide readers' eyes straight to the title. Pattern truly lives everywhere, even in publishing!
