TIME PARADOX : La Finale Edizione

So I am started my FINAL PROJECT. The media for the finale is A2 size of Illustration board. First I draw with HB Pencil the shapes, all of it. After that, I started with the painting of the hand. here we come.

After finish paint the hand with Acrylic, I did the outline with small marker pen. Next, I shared with my friend a pack of glitter, with GOLD colour, it made the sand effect on it.

After struggling with the glitter and liquid UHU glue, it is done. Next, I did the colouring of the cubes on the left and the clock with water colour. The Clock will be the border between the left and right side.

The left side I colour with variety of colour, cold and warm but they are more on dark. Next the final colouring part, the right there, the rest of it.

HERE we come the final result. I colour it with water colour, more on light colour, looks like pastel. The pink near the border I make it with water spread method, so it is not thick colour, just little white on it, also the light blue there, I make it gradient on it. The other looks similar colour one another, but it is different actually. It looks the same because the base colour is same, so I add another colour to give different effect colour view on it, the main reason is to save my water colour paint since I got limited colour.

The element of design showed in the artwork even not all.

The asymetrical balance between left and right reflected by the offset clock and hand to the left.

Texture by glitter to get rough texture.

Unity and Variety showed from the different-different shapes, and warm-cold colours, dark and light colours around it.

Now, the artwork is about time travel. The Hand break through the glitter, rough texture means the dark side of life, like failures, stress, everything that wants us down. So the hand full power reach the time in the past, even many challenges around it, have to face it (reflected by dark colours on the left) but when we reach the clock, the time, we can get into the peace, beautiful life (reflected by light colours on the right).
